dc.descriptionThe variability of demand originated from one agent to another in the supply chain increases or amplifies as the signal moves away from the point of origin; these distortions are called the Whip Effect. This paper addresses a network of multislot supplies, which estimates demand measurement intervals of the network distortion, according to extreme behaviors in the system that allow to diagnose its performance regarding the amplification of the demand. For the research, local and global static measurements of the whip effect are applied at each level of the four-stage beer game supply network; each step or link has multiple nodes. Traditionally, this measurement has been performed at one node at a time, or in the case of global measurements, a single node is assumed at each link in the system. The measurement in this study is made to a non-linear supply network, in which, unlike previous cases, we have two or more nodes per link, which represents an advance in the measurement of the whip effect in systems of greater complexityen-US
dc.descriptionLa variabilidad de la demanda que se origina de un agente a otro en la cadena de suministro, aumenta o amplifica a medida que la señal se aleja del punto de origen; estas distorsiones se denominan Efecto Látigo. En este artículo se aborda una red de suministros multieslabón, que estima los intervalos de medición de la distorsión de la demanda de la red, de acuerdo a comportamientos extremos en el sistema que permiten diagnosticar su desempeño en términos de la amplificación de demanda. Para la investigación se aplican mediciones estáticas locales y globales del efecto látigo, en cada nivel de la red de suministros del juego de la cerveza de cuatro eta-pas; cada etapa o eslabón tiene múltiples nodos. Tradicionalmente, esta medición se ha realizado en un nodo a la vez, o en el caso de mediciones globales se asume un solo nodo en cada eslabón del sistema. La medición en este estudio se realiza a una red de sumi-nistro no lineal, en la que, a diferencia de casos anteriores, se tienen dos o más nodos por cada eslabón, lo que representa un avance en la medición del efecto látigo en sistemas de mayor complejidad. es-ES
