dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se presenta una breve descripción del concepto de exergía, su extensión al análisis de costo exergético, y su aplicación como método termoeconómico involucrando los costos económicos de implantación y operación, resaltando la pertinencia de este marco conceptual para los campos de la energía, la economía y la sostenibilidad. Se realiza la aplicación de este método a un caso de estudio mediante la simulación termodinámica de un sistema de generación de energía eléctrica a partir de la gasificación de biomasa, seleccionando un energético primario, un arreglo adecuado de proceso y estableciendo los flujos de exergía que permiten con un pertinente nivel de agregación desarrollar los planteamientos del método.spa
